Where Every Build Begins

Every engine that enters the shop is completely disassembled and cleaned before a single measurement is taken. Parts are cleaned, degreased, and inspected under proper lighting. Nothing is assumed — everything is verified.

Metal Removal With Intent

The machine room is where tolerances are set. Block boring, line honing, surface grinding — every cut is measured twice and made with purpose. The goal is not speed. The goal is accuracy.

Airflow Is Performance

Heads are resurfaced, valve seats are cut and hand-lapped, and ports are shaped for maximum flow efficiency. Each head leaves the bench with a leak test and a flow sheet.

Assembly happens in a clean, controlled environment. Every clearance is checked, every torque spec is followed, and every component is installed with the same care it was machined with. This is where the engine becomes whole.

How Every Engine
Gets Built

  1. 01

    Engine Arrives

    The engine is received, tagged, and documented before anything is touched.

  2. 02

    Inspection

    Every component is measured and checked against factory and race specs. Cracks are checked, bores are measured, surfaces are indicated.

  3. 03

    Cleaning

    Parts are thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and pressure-washed. No machine work begins until parts are clean.

  4. 04

    Machining

    Boring, honing, surfacing, line honing — all performed in-house on dedicated equipment.

  5. 05

    Precision Measurement

    Bearing clearances, deck heights, piston-to-wall clearances, and ring gaps are all blueprinted to spec.

  6. 06

    Assembly

    Components are assembled in a clean environment. Every torque spec is followed. Every seal is seated. Every clearance re-checked.

  7. 07

    Final Quality Check

    Every completed engine is inspected a final time before it leaves the shop. Nothing ships without Paul's sign-off.

Every engine that leaves this shop is individually measured, machined, and assembled with attention to tolerances — not production volume. Bearing clearances are checked with a micrometer, not guessed. Ring gaps are filed to spec, not assumed. Deck heights are documented, not skipped. The difference between a race engine and a rebuilt engine is not the parts. It's the process.
